Wilson-Hurd has introduced a new Rapid Membrane Switch Prototype Program. This new offering features fast delivery of membrane switch prototypes – as fast as 5 business days from receipt of order to shipment of parts. Wilson-Hurd is able to accomplish this quick delivery by utilizing its digital printing and laser-cutting capabilities.
“Our new Rapid Membrane Switch Prototype program is a perfect solution when companies need parts quickly for a tradeshow, for a sales proposal meeting, or for an engineering review meeting. In these situations, the fast delivery of a company’s prototypes is extremely critical. This program will allow companies to meet their timelines with a quality, functional prototype at a very affordable price,” states Tammy Landrath, Director of Marketing at Wilson-Hurd.
While a standard membrane switch construction is used for Wilson-Hurd’s Rapid Prototype Program, companies will still have some design flexibility in the following areas – overlay material selection; LED color selection; dome size selection; and type of termination. Within these designated areas, designers will have a select list of choices that will be available for them to use within the design of their membrane switch.
Wilson-Hurd’s headquarters are in Wausau, Wisconsin with additional manufacturing facilities located in Berlin, Wisconsin. In addition to membrane switches, the company’s Electronic Control product division also produces custom capacitive switches; elastomeric keypads; Piezo® panels; and complete turn-key engineered solutions.
