Snaptron, Inc. has added two new 8.5mm tactile concentrator domes to it’s list of products. The TCG08320 and TCG08550 both feature a 4-leg design and are 8.5mm in diameter.
Activation forces are 320g and 550g respectively. The TC-Series domes feature a reverse dimple that serves as a built in actuator, or tactile concentrator.
Advantages of this feature include:
• When used in conjunction with an oversized actuator there is negligible adverse effect on the activation force and tactile ratio of the dome
• These domes perform more consistently if an actuator is located off center
